You need not be worried by this particular test failure: most likely
it's the test that is flaky rather than the Autoconf code.  Also, the
code exercised is the parallel bits of the Autotest machinery, which
are documented to be still work in progress.  So the usability of
Autoconf 2.64 should in any case not be greatly affected.

I am curious however: did you run the testsuite in parallel when
experiencing this (as in: make check TESTSUITEFLAGS=-j3) or was the
system very loaded?
