Thanks; applied. However, it would be nicer if you submitted actual git
commits (either via 'git send-email', or by attaching the output of 'git
format-patch --stdout'), because it is less typing and fewer commands
for me to use 'git am' while preserving your author and date
information, compared to the process I ended up using of 'patch'
followed by 'git commit --author=...' for this particular email.
