Autoconf's own ./configure does not output this information, and
autoconf does not provide a bootstrap.sh file. You are reporting your
problem to the wrong list. Whining to the wrong people won't get you
any solutions.
It should be fairly easy to install an up-to-date autoconf onto any
machine of your choice without waiting for the distro to do it on your
behalf, if you insist on developing on that platform.
