[GNU Autoconf 2.69] testsuite: 501 failed

Ubuntu Mate 14.04.

This dist has an autoconf 2.69 but it seems to be ahead of what's
in the ftp.gnu.org tarball.

Please let me know what other info you may need.

Any idea how soon Autoconf 2.70 will be out? I'd like to move to it
for gawk.
