--program-prefix=g, because part of Apple's toolchain is a program also called
libtool that is unrelated except for being a tool that deals with libraries.
(I believe this dates back to the days of NeXT.)
So, this is probably my fault as a user, but I can say that this can
particularly cause problems because I have an unprefixed version of libtoolize
installed elsewhere, but MacPorts comes first in my PATH, so if I forget to
pass LIBTOOLIZE=glibtoolize in the environment, I sometimes end up with
libtool version mismatch errors
