WTF???? These tests are working now! Admittedly, I originally saw
these errors using libtool 1.4.1 but I then upgraded to 1.4.3 and the
tests *still* failed! I am confused... Could libtool 1.4.1 have been
lingering on my system somehow, even after I had upgraded?
