Hello.
Doing a dry run of moving to automake 1.14.1, I noticed the following
"improvements" in the generated Makefile.in:
diff --git a/Makefile.in b/Makefile.in
index fe921ad..1567a77 100644
--- a/Makefile.in
+++ b/Makefile.in

The messages are swapped. The warning for compress occurs on the
creation of the shar archive, and the warning on the shar archive
occurs on compression with compress.
Methinks someone was working too late at night... :-)
Thanks,
Arnold
