old bug resolved

Hi,

on or around June 26 2000 I mailed bug-bash@gnu.org about a problem with
escape sequences in a bash prompt; please see the description in the
FreeBSD bug archive at http://www.FreeBSD.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=19388
. I never received any answer.

I now find that this bug must have been resolved before Jan 4 2001. If
you still have an open bug report about it somewhere, please close it.
