Here I am wanting to change
$ wwwoffle http://scman.cwb.gov.tw/realtime/06141036.htm
to
$ wwwoffle http://scman.cwb.gov.tw/realtime/06177036.htm
etc. and it sure would be convenient if I had emacs' overwrite mode
functionality, perhaps toggled on and off by the "insert" key. I'm
suspecting that bash doesn't do that yet.
