"Display all 129 possibilities?" and dot files

Confronted with "Display all 129 possibilities? (y or n)" after a TAB,
I'm thinking "sure, show 'em to me, but can't you be like ls(1) and
keep the .dotfiles out of the list sometimes?

Indeed, the key is to expand the choices from the meager "y or n" so
many more that could give one various different selections of what to
show... [keeping current y and n behavior for upward compatibility.]
