automatic nohup ?

Hi, 

this is not a bug report, just a question.

I like the command editing capabilities of bash and "auto-nohup" feature
of csh. Can I combine both? Is there any environment variable to tell
bash that it should automatically "disown -h" each and every background
job? Otherwise bash keeps killing its child processes when terminated
itself.
