The fourth edition of the World Wide Initiatives Exhibition will gather, during 
a whole week, web users, web masters, universities,
communities, public institutions, non governmental organisations and companies 
in a large virtual space devoted to project
exchanges, to ideas, to demonstration and to experimentation

Yes, The Internet Fiesta is a Virtual Planetary Exhibition of initiatives and 
propositions coming from thousand of web users on all
continents.  Here they will present their projects, exchange their point of 
view and experience.  They will share their cultural
richness and will open themselves to others. They will then find help and 
contribution for themselves and the others.

During this celebration week, the extraordinary display offered by the Internet 
Fiesta allows the promotion of regional specialities
and production, present ethical initiatives and cultural content as folklore, 
myth and legend, transcription of local songs or
demonstration of other aspect of local culture.  Every year the Internet Fiesta 
insist also on the new possible uses of the
Internet, demonstrate the advantages given by the network market and create 
virtual space dedicated to encounter and world wide
solidarity.  As well, The Internet Fiesta has promoted and shall promote every 
on-line formation and on- line educational project.

No matter how one is isolated. Wherever one is, participation and contribution 
is possible. The Virtual Planetary Exhibition knows
no border and have no centralised headquarter. All one needs is a computer 
connected to the web and enthusiasm to create one's own
virtual space within the thematic pavilions of the Virtual Planetary Exhibition.

A small team of persons from various professional backgrounds and 
nationalities, living in Paris (France), is in charge of the
coordination of this network of networks. Every one within this group is 
fascinated by the opening on the whole world offered by the
Internet and a convinced supporter of the pluricultural way of life. They act 
as general commissioners of the Virtual Planetary

well as off-line and all together massive and one to

4ème édition de l'exposition mondiale d'initiative qui durant une semaine, du 
18 au 24 mars 2002,  réunit l'ensemble des internautes
du monde entier : simples surfeurs, webmasters, universitaires, communautés, 
institutions publiques, organisations non
gouvernementales mais aussi les entreprises publiques et privées dans un espace 
d'échange de projets, d'idées et d'expériences.

Oui, l'Internet Fiesta est bien une exposition planétaire d'initiatives et de 
propositions émanant de milliers d'internautes de tous
les continents. Ils y exposeront leurs projets, échangeront leurs idées, et 
expériences. Ils donnent à connaître la richesse de
leurs cultures et permettent de s'ouvrir aux autres pour trouver des 
contributions et des appuis pour leurs travaux et ceux des
autres.

Durant cette semaine de festivités cette extraordinaire vitrine qu'offre 
l'Internet Fiesta assure la promotion de spécificités et de
produits régionaux, expose les initiatives éthiques et les contenus culturels 
comme des mythes, des légendes, des transcriptions de
chants ou d'autres aspects curieux d'une culture locale. Chaque année est mise 
en évidence de nouveaux usages possibles de l'
Internet (pour la première édition en mars 1999 l'ensemble du site était 
disponible sur le W.A.P.), les avantages des marchés en
réseau, la création d'espaces d'animations et de rencontres solidaires. Mais 
aussi la mise en avant des projets de formation et d'
apprentissage en ligne.

Peu importe que l'on soit très isolé ; ou que l'on se trouve, on peut 
participer et contribuer. L'exposition planétaire virtuelle d'
initiatives n'a ni frontière ni siège physique unique. Tous ce dont on a besoin 
c'est d'un ordinateur connecté à Internet et d'
enthousiasme pour créer son propre espace au sein des douze pavillons 
thématiques.

La coordination de ce réseau des réseaux que constitue l'Internet Fiesta est 
assurée par un groupe de personnes de formations et de
nationalités variées, résidant à Paris et toutes passionnées par l'ouverture 
sur le monde qu'offre l'Internet et fervents adeptes du
pluriculturel. Ils constituent le commissariat général de l'exposition

Durante siete días, miles de internautas del mundo entero  participarán en la 
4a edición de Internet Fiesta con un mismo objetivo :
navegantes, webmasters, estudiantes, comunidades, instituciones públicas, 
organizaciones no gubernamentales, como también empresas
públicas y privadas.


Sí, Internet Fiesta es una Exposición Planetaria de iniciativas y 
proposiciones. Miles de internautas en el mundo entero exponen
allí sus proyectos, intercambian ideas y experiencias, dan a conocer la riqueza 
de su cultura y se abren a otros pueblos, buscan
apoyo para sacar adelante sus propias iniciativas y contribuyen a desarrollar 
las de otros.

Aprovechando esa semana de festividades, Usted puede promover productos 
regionales, presentar personalidades valiosas como artesanos
y empresarios, destacar las acciones éticas de empresas u organizaciones, 
revelar aspectos curiosos de la historia local
transcribiendo canciones, mitos o leyendas.

Cada año se busca destacar los usos innovadores de Internet como las ventajas 
del mercadeo en la Red (en la primera edición en marzo
de 1999, todo el sitio web se encontraba disponible en WAP). También se incita 
a crear espacios de animación y de encuentro
solidarios, promover proyectos de formación y aprendizaje en línea, animar 
foros y grupos de trabajo.

Y no importa qué tan aislado sea el lugar donde se encuentre, Usted puede 
participar y colaborar. Esta Exposición Planetaria de
iniciativas no tiene fronteras, ni una sede física única. Lo importante es 
contar con una conexión a Internet e ingenio para crear
su propio stand en cada uno de los distintos  temáticos.

Detrás de la coordinación de esta " red de redes " que constituye Internet 
Fiesta estamos un grupo de personas residentes en París
con distintas carreras y nacionalidades,  pero todos apasionados por la noción 
multicultural y de apertura que ofrece Internet.
