set -o interactive-comments needs mention on man page

one sees under help set:
                interactive-comments
                             allow comments to appear in interactive commands
but one does not find details on the man page.
P.S. one does not find 'set -o interactive' or anything corresponding to set -i,
not that one is sure there ever was, but still...
