Bash 2.05b MAKE problem |

Friends,
I am trying to install bash 2.05b under AIX 5.2 on a new, 64 bit, p-series
RS-6000 machine.
In the CONFIGURE procedure, I added a compiler flag -q64 to the variable
named ac_compile. With or without this flag, the subsequent "MAKE" command
produces identical output, which is attached to this note. The output is in
two files named OUT1.TXT and OUT2.TXT. The latter shows an apparently fatal
error at the end.
Suggestions?
