Yes, the support is there.  The rest of the questions will have to be
answered by the bashdb developer.

Eventually, yes, though independent development will continue.

As far as I know.  Rocky is on the bash-testers list, and I didn't hear
anything back from him regarding any of the alpha or beta releases.
