You may be concerned about the following disturbing behaviour,
$ cat kkj
wc<kk?
$ sh kkj
kkj: line 1: kk?: No such file or directory
$ bash kkj
1 1 7
$ sh
sh-3.00$ wc<kk?
1 1 7
or it may all just be in my head as usual.
