At the end of this line the user hits tab and sees
$ ls /home/jidanni/debian/debian.linux.org.tw
debian.linux.org.tw.packages  debian.linux.org.tw=may04.gz

But if he appends an = and again hits tab he gets a different set of
completions, so of course he must append a \=.

Well OK, might still be an a=b c=d setting. No big deal.
