This is fixed by official patch 10. Make sure to get the
updated version of that patch from ftp.case.edu. I have not
yet been able to get the folks who manage ftp.gnu.org to allow
me to update patch 10 there.
Now that bug-bash appears to have arisen from the ashes, I will send
out the updated patch 10 again.
