Check the man page or info documentation for the description of "Pathname Expansion". If you want to suppress the expansion, you can use single or double quotes: /yacco2/bin/o2linker_debug '/*hi*/' /yacco2/compiler/grammars/yacco2.fsc "/*there*/" paul
