It would matter if we could find an arrangement to publish it that would
be suitable for everyone. The revision history would surely be more
useful than what’s currently in Git.
For the record, automated builds of Bash from Git are now available at
<http://hydra.nixos.org/jobset/gnu/bash-master>. It would also be more
useful if the Git repository was actually used.
