since the bundled bashdb code has been deprecated, the AM_PATH_LISPDIR macro
doesnt seem to be used anymore. could we get it dropped from configure.in and
aclocal.m4 ? if `emacs` isnt exactly GNU emacs, the lispdir detection likes
to get hung up. rather than fix it, we can just punt the code in question ...
