From: lolilolicon
Subject: Adjust man page to relfect compilation configurations
Date: Sat, 02 Jul 2011 22:49:47 -0700 (PDT)

Configuration Information:
Machine: i686
OS: linux-gnu
Compiler: gcc
Compilation CFLAGS: -DPROGRAM='bash' -DCONF_HOSTTYPE='i686'
-DCONF_OSTYPE='linux-gnu' -DCONF_MACHTYPE='i686-pc-linux-gnu'
-DCONF_VENDOR='pc' -DLOCALEDIR='/usr/share/locale' -DPACKAGE='bash' -DSHELL
-DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I./include -I./lib -march=i686 -mtune=generic -O2
-pipe
-DDEFAULT_PATH_VALUE='/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/sbin:/sbin'
 -DSTANDARD_UTILS_PATH='/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin'
-DSYS_BASHRC='/etc/bash.bashrc' -DSYS_BASH_LOGOUT='/etc/bash.bash_logout'
uname output: Linux archtop 2.6.39-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Tue Jun 7 05:49:02 UTC
2011 i686 Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T5450 @ 1.66GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux
Machine Type: i686-pc-linux-gnu

Bash Version: 4.2
Patch Level: 10
Release Status: release

Description:
  Relevant compilation CFLAGS:

  -DSYS_BASHRC='/etc/bash.bashrc'
  -DSYS_BASH_LOGOUT='/etc/bash.bash_logout'

When compiled with these flags, the bash man page does not mention anything
  about these files.

Repeat-By:
Compile bash with the aforementioned flags, install, and run:

  man bash | grep -E 'bash\.bash(rc|_logout)' # nothing

Fix:
Mention SYS_BASHRC and SYS_BASH_LOGOUT in the man page if they are not empty,
but the user shall be informed that these are not standard configurations.
