Release Status: release

Description:
        In this example 'pathname expansion' doesn't occur during the
        redirection of a 'here document':
                $ ls
                my_file
                $ v="my_*"
                $ cat <<EOF
                        $v
                        "$v"
                        EOF
                my_*
                "my_*"

        while the expansion alone works:
                $ echo $v
                my_file

        Is this expected? Standing at the debian's man bash, variables inside
        'here document' are supposed to expand with no special exceptions
        and undergo word splitting and pathname expansion.
