ftp://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/bash/bash-4.2.tar.gz[.sig]
ftp://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/bash/bash-4.2-patches/bash42-0??[.sig]

or

ftp://ftp.cwru.edu/pub/bash/bash-4.2.tar.gz[.sig]
ftp://ftp.cwru.edu/pub/bash/bash-4.2-patches/bash42-0??[.sig]

There is no upstream pre-built tarball with all of the patches applied;
you have to do it yourself (or use a pre-built downstream binary from
your distro of choice).

You can also look at git://git.sv.gnu.org/bash.git, but it is a bit
behind; Chet has only pushed master up to patch 39 instead of patch 42.
