It takes as long as it takes.  I'm not being flip: I have a limited amount
of time to work on bash, and I prioritize.

The patch as Cedric submitted it will require some work to incorporate
into bash.  I am very far along in the bash-4.3 release cycle and may
not get to this before release.  I do not want to hold up the release for
this.
