Oh yes, there's also a file called bash.0 that needs to be kept in sync with bash.1. It's probably generated by a script to make the release distribution *.tar.gz files. I'm better off not giving a patch for it for that reason, also since it contains backspaces that have no chance of surviving being pasted into an email, and I don't want to try file attachments on a mailing list.
