You might take a look at the changelog.

I'll try to test the new bash on latest Solaris (11.4). What did you do > to 
observe the issue? Just execute the binary?

I haven't been able to reproduce the problem, but I am

1. Using the out-of-the-box config instead of linking against an external
   version of readline; and

2. Running on Intel using VirtualBox instead of SPARC.
