Hello,

I just wanted to mention that there appears to be a bug in some
version of the GNU binutils as configured for a cross-compiler.

$ uname -a
CYGWIN_NT-5.1 HP-PAVILION 1.3.22(0.78/3/2) 2003-03-18 09:20 i686 unknown
unknown
 Cygwin
$ m68k-atari-mint-as --version
GNU assembler 2.9.1
Copyright 1997 Free Software Foundation, Inc.
This program is free software; you may redistribute it under the terms of
the GNU General Public License. This program has absolutely no warranty.
This assembler was configured for a target of `m68k-atari-mint'.
$ echo 'cmpi #0,#1' | m68k-atari-mint-as
{standard input}: Assembler messages:
{standard input}:1: Internal error, aborting at ./config/tc-m68k.c line 1867
in
m68k_ip
Please report this bug.

I agree that "cmpi #0,#1" is an incorrect construct, but the error message
just
asked that the bug be reported, so I hope you're the right person to be told
of.

Regards,

Laurent Vogel
