Hi,
Actually the warning is useful, so I do not intend to remove it. If you do
not want to see it you can always pass the linker's output through grep.
I do agree that the wording could be better, so how about:
"warning: the use of `tmpnam' is dangerous, consider using `mkstemp' instead"
