There are incompatibilities in several headers of package
binutils-2.15.90.0.1.1-31 (packed as RPM by SuSE):
e.g.:
(in file included by demangle.h:24)
libiberty.h:78 and string.h:366
basename throws different exceptions
libiberty.h:285 and stdio.h:374
asprintf throws different exceptions
libiberty.h:293 and stdio.h:368
vasprintf throws different exceptions
[...]
How can it be that a central part of GNU software, such as the binutils, is in
so bad quality? Don't you try to compile everything with all warnings
enabled?
Please enable all warnings and try to compile all headers not only with gcc,
but also with g++ in a batch test before each release!
Thank you
Regards
Marc
