Hi I have been sing the intel compiler and get the following error with ld ld: ./junk.o: relocation R_X86_64_PC32 against `alloc2float' can not be used when making a shared object; recompile with -fPIC ld: final link failed: Bad value
I have compiled code with -fPIC . Also , tried to upgrade binutils from 2.15 version to 2.17 version . Shows no significant change . Can there be some other way to get around this problem ? -- The philosophy of one century is the common sense of the next
