It turns out that while generating the unwind tables, it uses uninitialized memory, so some times it would generate invalid entries:
Please could you file a bug report about this here: http://sourceware.org/bugzilla/It would be *really* helpful if you can include a testcase to reproduce the problem.
Also - you do not say which version of gas you are using. If it is an old version then it is possible that the bug has already been fixed. (The latest version is 2.22).
