Rework rebuffer_line to avoid seeking to the start and rereading the entire

Hi Jim,

  Unfortunately your proposed patch does not work - I just stops rebuffer_line
from actually finding the earlier line.

  Instead please could you try this patch and let me know if it works for you.

  As an aside you could also avoid these problems if you turn off the assembler
listing feature.
