when .weak directive replaced with .globl, i can't see such behavior.

/bin/as weak2.S -o weak.o -v ;objdump -d weak.o|grep mov
GNU assembler version 2.24.51 (i686-pc-cygwin) using BFD version (GNU Binutils)
  20:   ba 10 00 00 00          mov    $0x10,%edx
