            Bug ID: 18390
Summary: how to tell if the dwarf line generated is for literal
                    pools ( re bug 12974 )
           Product: binutils
           Version: unspecified
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: gas
Assignee: unassigned at sourceware dot org
Reporter: s-pang at ti dot com
  Target Milestone: ---

For fixing bug 12974, GAS generates line number info for the literal pool
entries.
The line number info entries point to the source lines that refer to those
literals.
My issue is that how a debugger knows that these line number entries are
referring to the literal pools.

I am a developer for the TI's Code Composer Studio.
I am investigating a bug where we set a asm source level bp incorrectly due to
those literal pool line number info entries.

Any help will be appreciated.
