I didn't know that, what kind of case would that be? Is it really possible to
predict what will be the next section?

I'm not sure about what you mean by 'configuration'. This is how binutils is
built:

You can look at the rest of the file and repository to see how the rest is
built.

I'll be busy next week, but I will try to set up a small reproduction case when
I come back the week after. No guarantees though :)
