program should never reach the INT3/TRAP in the IF condition

there is one more bug related closely to
https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=26583

When a pointer is initialized at link time, LD assigns a wrong address.

Please have a look onto the attachments or find the entire build directory
(including .OBJ and disassembler files) on my github site:

Regrettably I have not seen that specific bug earlier.
