Bad point! Forcing additional assembly on all language and architecture
combinations? An unacceptable additional complexity to the build system. I can
come up with much much better and simpler workarounds any time!

But as I've stated, _I've reported_ that one field in the Elf header is
incorrectly set on riscv64. That's the issue at hand and that's what should
concern you, not that if I'm capable of figuring out workarounds or not. I
assure you, I can, but that's no reason not to fix ld.
