Maybe.  I suspect that the erroneous bytes that readelf is seeing are actually
padding bytes at the end of .debug_macro.dwo sections.  Hmmm, although this 
would not explain all of the mysterious .debug_macro.dwo sections.

Please could you upload the hello.s file as well ?
