Hi Himal,
Thanks for reporting these problems.
I have applied your patch to the _bfd_real_fopen code.
Unfortunately the libiberty sources are controlled by the gcc project, not
us.
(We just use them, we do not maintain them). So please could you refile the
libiberty patch proposal here:
