I don't see a misassembly here. "boing" is at address 4, so the expression
boing+1 translates to 5.

But the relocation truncated error messages are wrong; that is a case of not
following the pdp11 address arithmetic rules.  I just entered bug #29963 for
that with a proposed simple patch.
