Hi Jan,

  Are you able to capture the ld command line ?  (Adding -Wl,-debug to the
final gcc command should do this.  Just make sure that you do not use -v as
well).

  Please could you upload libtest.a and test2.obj so that I can try reproducing
the problem locally.  (This avoids any problems with me using a different
version of gcc from you).
