While binutils now understand how to write a PDB file, it needs the appropriate
CodeView debug information in the object files/libraries fed to it. As things
stand, GCC does not yet produce the CodeView debug information. There is a
patch series for GCC to add support for CodeView debug information, but it has
not been committed.
