Some time ago I had been in contact with two or three people who had
written code to produce parser objects for C++ (and also Java) from
Bison.  My plan was to to appoint somebody to evaluate the various
implementations, decide which was most appropriate, and work on
integration into the main source tree.  Unfortunately, I've dropped
the ball on that and I don't see any signs that I'll be able to pick
it up again.

If there's no forward movement on this from anyone on the list, we
should drop that item from the FAQ.
