Did you ``make distclean'' (or at least delete config.cache) and re-run
configure when switching compilers?

How is RETSIGTYPE defined in config.h?  (And what does ``uname -a''
report for Solaris 7?  I can never keep the mapping between SunOS
versions and Solaris versions.)
