It would be useful if you could get a traceback from a core file.
In any event, signal 11 is Segmentation Violation, which almost
certainly means that you ran out of (virtual) memory and CVS didn't
handle it gracefully. You need to increase the process memory limit
and/or increase the amount of swap space you have (on the server).
