compilation error on SunOS 5.8 (Solaris)

Hi,

   While porting cvs-1.11.1p1 to SunOS 5.8, I got the following error:

$ uname -a
$ SunOS tersk10 5.8 Generic_108528-02 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-80
$ ./configure
$ make
...snip...
