CVS Tagging Terminated with fatal signal 11

Hi All,

    While tagging in (CVS) 1.11.1p1 (client/server) sometimes I get the following error " Terminated with fatal signal 1" and CVS does not delete the locks that are created for the files in the repository , hence its not possible to checkout as it says "waiting for cvsuser's lock in /local/apps/cvs/rrepository/src"  . Is there any work around to get away from this problem .

 

The tagging has worked most of the times , but the problem occurs occasionaly ..
