That fixed the problem - thanks!

And for Win 98 it uses what by default? The error message is
not clear if I need to set that environment variable. I don't need
to set it for normal operations though???

It is very interesting to find out what this "client/server rubbish"
is all about. :-)

Wow, this is impressive and exciting! Now I can see all those
strange tags you were all talking about.

And it doesn't even interfere with my normal CVS operation.
Like wow, man! This is what life was meant to be like!

And this is from a guy who already thought CVS was the best
think since sliced bread. This is like an auto-buttering of
sliced bread! With maybe even vegemite added. :-)

I assume that cvs1-11-5-branch is the main branch for bug
fixes. And cvs1-11-x-branch is what is being used as a
precursor to cvs 1.12.1. And cvs1-11-2-branch is obsolete,
or has someone decided that that's a super-stable release
that is going to have bug-fixes applied to it? Are these tags
documented anywhere?

BTW, whatever happened to Cyclic, did they go bankrupt,
they don't appear to have their ".com" site anymore?

Is the history of CVS available anywhere (short form)? And
how many different strains are there of CVS?

BFN. Paul.
