tag/rtag - unable to reopen

Hello!

We're using Concurrent Versions System (CVS) 1.11.5 (client/server) on Red
Hat 8.0

When we try to put a tag/rtag we get a message:
cvs [rtag aborted]: unable to reopen
`/home/cvs/cvsroot/Gateway/surfinGate/Install_Windows/Finjan
SurfinGate/Setup Files/Compressed Files/Language Independent/OS Ind'

The path you see in the error message is truncated.

Unfortunately it looks like bug in cvs, it happens using client/password
server and also locally.

I'll be happy to supply any other information that might be relevant.
